We’ve started framing the second story and we must admit, the view is amazing. To top it all off, the weather has been absolutely gorgeous in Nedonna Beach for the last couple of weeks, providing us with a working environment we certainly can’t complain about.

The Gravel is Here!

The gravel is here! We’re getting ready to lay down and then pack a solid gravel base before we pour concrete. We need a strong gravel base to prevent the concrete from cracking and shifting, especially in this sandy location. Each day out here at Nedonna Beach we get one step closer to finishing this beautiful home’s foundation.

Since we’re out here building a gorgeous, custom beach house, here’s a little Nedonna Beach history for you all. Believe it or not, Nedonna Beach wasn’t always beautiful beach lots, it was once a dairy farm. Robert Riley, the man behind this beach community, married a woman named Geneva Donna, who then became known as Geneva Riley nee Donna – hence the name Nedonna Beach.
